Although these are not for carrying your weight (like climbing or holding a hammock up), they are so useful for many applications. I use one to keep my keys together so I can take off the van key to take camping, I hook my compass to my jacket pocket zip so I don’t lose it, I use one on the Whisper Micro Tarp to lift the middle with some paracord.
